School starts back up Wednesday. Oddly enough, I am excited to start. I am actually taking classes that are interesting to me (the bible as literature, adulthood and aging, comparative religions, social work, childhood and development). All my teachers have got good reviews, which makes me even more excited.
I’m leaving for Mexico Saturday morning. I couldn’t be more excited. It’s always nice to be able to get away. It’s also my first vacation with Nathan, so that will be interesting in itself.
My goal is to read twenty-five books this year. It’s not a ton, but having a goal will help me keep reading. I’ve already read three thus far.
I’ve been trying to find and apply for scholarships and it sucks. I’m not super smart, or poor enough for scholarships. I’m too average for anything.
I need to figure out where I’m going in the fall. I’ve applied to five schools and got accepted into two of those so far. Trying to figure out to do is so stressful.
So frustrated when I see people take shots at Christianity. Mostly cause it comes from people who preach about respect for everyone, but when God is mentioned all that respect goes out of the window.
If you don’t believe in God then ok, but don’t trash talk someones beliefs when they don’t yours. Yes some Christians don’t show Gods love, but I try to. I try and show respect to everyone. So practice what you preach, or don’t preach at all.
